i received a letter in the mail today from mississippi governor haley barbour. rather than automatically throw it away, i decided to give him a chance.

‘dear mr. johnson,

i write to you today to ask you to join me at the mississippi center for public policy. if you agree with me that capitalism is worth defending–’

and he lost me.
